Singer/Songwriter Alicia Grant is best known for her strong, emotional vocals, insightful lyrics and the ability to capture an audience and draw them into her world. After six long years of continuous live shows and concerts, sometimes up to 200 a year, at a variety of venues, Alicia decided it was time to re-focus her energy on the songs she’d written, that were clearly taunting her to record a full length album.
Alicia and her guitarist / producer, Dan Sistos, dove head first into the creation of "Dare to Confess," not realizing the myriad obstacles that would confront and agonize them. With so many setbacks, unavoidable problems and long delays, Alicia sometimes wondered if her project would ever see the light of day. But finally, after two years, almost to the day, of pouring her heart and soul into the recording process, she is delighted to have the difficult task behind her, and is enjoying promoting her new release.
